Yamaha RX-A2A AV Receiver is aimed at the new generation consoles

Recommended Posts

Yamaha has launched a new AV receiver and it appears to be quite good for gamers with both the new consoles and many PC setups.

The RX-A2A supports 4K at 120Hz and includes Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).  This means smooth game play along with reduced input lag according them Yamaha.

Quick Media Switching (QMS) is a feature they added to allow easy switching between movies and gaming and Quick Frame Transport (QFT) reduces latency for even smoother, no-lag gaming, and real-time interactive virtual reality.

All these features seem to be a great blend of support for a solid next gen gaming receiver.  Plus I have always been a fan of Yamaha's audio equipment.

The very first Yamaha's product which I used was their generator for electricity. It was the very best compared to any other generator brand I have used now.

But this their new AV receiver looks very cool. I'm most likely going to give it a go and probably make it a strong back up.
