Choosing your character's appearance and name in Once Human constitutes half the fun in the game. But what happens if you make a mistake or simply want to change your character's name? Worry not! It's absolutely possible to alter your name, but be informed, it comes at a cost.

Changing Your Account Name in Once Human

In order to change your character's name, you will require a Renaming Card. Remember, acquiring a renaming card involves monetary expenditure.

Where to Find the Renaming Card

The Renaming Card is located in the Shop. You can navigate to the Shop by pressing F2 and subsequently landing on the Other tab. The cost of a Renaming Card is 300 Crystgn.

The Cost of Changing Your Name

You can buy a pack of 330 Crystgn for an asking price of $4.99. Considering this, if you are seriously considering a name change and willing to buy a renaming card, then this price shouldn't be too harsh on your pockets.

How to Change Your Name?

Once you've got your Renaming Card, follow these steps to change your name:

1. Press Esc to open the pause menu.
2. Select your profile situated in the top-right-hand corner.
3. Click on 'Edit Name'.
4. Type your new name into the given text box.
5. Choose Confirm after using one Renaming Card. Your name will then be successfully changed.

Prerequisites

To access the shop, the game mandates that you must complete the tutorial first. Therefore, newcomers may have to wait for roughly 15 to 20 minutes to access the Shop, buy Crystgin, purchase the Renaming Card, and finally rename their characters.
