In the sub quest of the game, The First Descendent, builders are required to create the Divine Punishment assault rifle. Here is a comprehensive guide to assist you in making this Ultimate weapon.

The Divine Punishment weapon can be researched after reaching Mastery Rank 10. The required materials for the research include: Divine Punishment Polymer Syncytium, Divine Punishment Synthetic Fiber, Divine Punishment Nano Tube, and Divine Punishment Blueprint.

Materials and Blueprints for Crafting

The first three materials all have their own crafting recipes which require additional grinding for materials. While most are simple monster drops, obtaining the necessary blueprints require much more focused farming.

Below is a detailed breakdown of the materials, sources, and blueprints that you need for Divine Punishment:

  1. Divine Punishment Polymer Syncytium Blueprint: This can be obtained from various Intercept Battles and the sources include Stunning Beauty, Pyromaniac and Molten Fortress.
  2. Divine Punishment Synthetic Fiber Blueprint: This can be obtained from Stunning Beauty (Intercept Battle Normal), and multiple Void Fusion Reactor missions in Fortress Defense Line and White-night Gulch Hatchery.
  3. Divine Punishment Nano Tube Blueprint: This can be obtained from Dead Bride (Intercept Battle Normal), Pyromaniac (Intercept Battle Normal), Swamp Walker (Intercept Battle Hard), and Abyssal Void Fusion Reactor mission in Vespers Lost Supply Depot (Hard).
  4. Divine Punishment Blueprint: This can be obtained from Intercept Battle (Normal): Swamp Walker, Intercept Battle (Hard): Frost Walker, Void Fusion Reactor mission in Vespers Lost Supply Depot (Normal), and Abyssal Void Fusion Reactor mission in Agna Desert Vermillion Waste (Hard).

Building the Divine Punishment Weapon

Once you've secured all the necessary materials and blueprints, proceed to Anais in Albion where you can craft all the parts for Divine Punishment, and subsequently, the weapon itself. Each part takes about two hours to craft and the weapon requires four hours. The whole research process involves a total of 250,000 Gold.

Unique Ability of Divine Punishment

On completion, your new Divine Punishment weapon is equipped with a unique ability nicknamed "Prayer". Here's a brief explanation of its mechanics:

  • Theity effect increases your defense when a teammate is buffed.
  • Praise effect lowers your skill cooldown during teammates’ HP, Shield, MP, or custom resources recovery.
  • Glory effect increases the weapon’s ATK when you inflict a debuff on the enemy.

The Divine Punishment weapon is flexible and can be adjusted to a variety of play styles. You can use it for a supportive role with characters like Yujin or a more offensive role with characters who can inflict debuffs, like Freyna or Blair.

Boosting your Progress with Caliber

For gamers who wish to speed up the creation process, consider using Caliber. By doing so, you can acquire more weapon copies which will enhance your weapon's ability!
