Is it Possible to Play The First Descendant Solo?

Yes, you can play The First Descendant entirely solo if you want. All of the content available in The First Descendant is accessible for those wanting to play single-player. However, keep in mind that the game is notably more challenging when played alone. Some boss fights and time-constrained missions can seem almost impossible. We've found regularly switching out your guns for stronger ones and managing a combination of offensive and defensive Modules can significantly ease up the solo play experience.

If you decide to play solo, change your game settings to Private. When you pick the map you want to play in, modify the Field Options tab situated at the top right from Public to Private. This change needs to be repeated each time you wish to load into a match because it is set to Public by default. Moreover, the setting will reset to Public every time you return to the hub world.
